The Refill

Refill with a fresh formula and applicator that you can slip into your Iconic Edition case. Refilling your case is simple; just follow these steps:

  • Remove the bottom inner refill tube and wand from the outer case by pulling the base away from the cap.
  • Clean and dispose of the inner tube and wand.
  • Take your new refill and slide it into the empty case. Recycle the red box and refill packaging. Refill again and again.

Application & Tips

How To Use

Start with clean, moisturized lips. Apply a lip balm beforehand, allow it to absorb, then blot off any excess before applying. For the best result, lips should be dry. Use the doe-foot applicator to line the lips first for clean, defined color, then sweep across the inner part of the lips and blend for a smooth, seamless finish. A Lip Pencil can also be used to add further definition and help keep color precisely within the lip line.

To Remove: Use an oil-based makeup remover or micellar water and gently blot the lips with a reusable cotton pad. Once removed, rinse with water and follow with a lip balm to keep the lips soft and hydrated.

Kirsten's Tip

To create a tinted lip look, dab Matte, Naturally Liquid Lipstick onto lips with fingers. For a full-on, rich and velvety matte lip look, apply with the Lip Brush for extra perfection after lining lips with a Lip Pencil.

How do you apply Matte, Naturally Liquid Lipstick?

Apply directly from the doe-foot applicator, starting at the center of the lips and working outward. The lightweight formula spreads evenly without bleeding. For a cleaner edge, follow the natural lip line before filling in the center. Allow to set for a moment after application.

What does Matte, Naturally Liquid Lipstick do?

Matte, Naturally is Kjaer Weis's first certified organic liquid lipstick. Difficult to discern color. My last liquid lipstick that I bought at a store was fantastic. I reordered the wrong color. After I opened the box to inspect the color, it was no longer returnable. A wrapper on the lipstick which would allow online users to see the shade would be advisable. I did not break any seal so not sure how "secure" the lipstick is anyways.

I’ve never been a lipstick wearer because I don’t like the texture usually- this has been a great find though! The color is so pretty, it wears well, and goes on smooth without leaving that β€œpastey” feeling that usually turns me off from lipstick. Plus the case is beautiful!

I have blossoming in gloss and blush which I love, the lipstick however is a much cooler colour and looks terrible on me. A complete waist of money for me, which is a shame as I love the lipstick formula.

I have tried countless classic reds, and the shade is often just a little off with my skin tone (medium-fair Asian skin). I was shocked that this color manages to be both truly red (not brick, violet, etc.) and flattering. I haven’t tested the staying power of this lipstick yet. The packaging is so luxurious.

Beautiful presentation. Lightweight and comfortable. The color is complimentary to my light-med/olive undertone skin. It wears well. I judge formulas by how they wear OFF - do they smudge, come off in patches, pill off, etc. This formula, again, wore well throughout the day and faded nicely and naturally. I was able to touch up with a lip balm I carry without having to work to fix any smears or patches. If I had another shade I would carry a deeper shade in my bag to go from day to night on the go. Another plus - no liner necessary.

Perfect red hue for cool undertone skin. Such a statement color on a nude-soft face and eye makeup look. Soft and creamy texture, has a lot of pigmentation and is rather long lasting.
