How To Use

To apply our Lip Pencil, simply follow your natural lip line, starting at the outer corner. Repeat on your bottom lip. 

For a more opaque, intense shade, use the Lip Pencil to fill in your entire lip with color. Our Lip Pencil will leave a gorgeous, ultra-matte color on its own, or can be combined with our Lipstick, Lip Tint, or Lip Balm.

Kirsten's Tip

The Lip Pencil can be applied on its own for a highly pigmented, velvety matte finish. I also like to pair it with the Tinted Lip Balm for a subtle lip appearance.

How do you apply Lip Pencil?

Line the edges of the lips directly from the pencil, building up color in any areas where you want more definition or shape. For a more finished look, pair with a Lipstick in a complementary shade. The Lip Pencil can also be worn alone for an opaque, velvet-matte finish. The formula has a creamy, smooth texture that glides on without dragging, leaving lips defined and hydrated.

What does Lip Pencil do?

The Lip Pencil defines the lip line and helps keep lipstick or lip color from migrating beyond the edges of the lips. The elastic, blendable formula creates precise, feather-free definition while conditioning the lips with Certified Organic Coconut Oil and Carnauba Wax. It can be worn as a base under lipstick, on its own for a matte finish, or blended out for a softer look.

How do I choose the right shade of Lip Pencil?

The Lip Pencils are designed to pair with specific Kjaer Weis lip shades. Classic pairs with KW Red Lipstick, Rose pairs with Honor Lipstick, Mauve pairs with Believe Lipstick, and Flush pairs with Empower Lipstick. For a more versatile option, choosing a shade close to your natural lip color works well under any lipstick or worn alone.

Can Lip Pencil be worn without lipstick?

Yes. The formula delivers enough pigment to wear on its own for an opaque, velvet-matte finish. It is hydrating enough for standalone wear, with Certified Organic Coconut Oil keeping the lips soft and conditioned throughout the day.

Stay on longer than lipstick

Haven’t used lip pencil for many, many years. The color does stay on my lips much longer than lipsticks and it doesn’t appear to dry my lips at all. The color isn’t what I thought it would be, but I will continue to play with it. I would say it is worth buying and trying. I have light hair, eyes and skin.

Lovely lip pencil! Classic is a true red in that it is not blue, brown, or orange based. It is neutral and can work on any skin tone! The pencil is soft. I use it to line and fill in my lips, which requires the pencil to be sharpened daily. I bought the silver capped Iconic edition, and the cap is nice and heavy and stays on well. If you are looking for the perfect red, Classic lip pencil is it!
